Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Racket Master collects when you visit racketmaster.shop, buy a guide or join our email list, and what we do with it. Racket Master is a UK-based business and is the data controller for this website. Questions about your data: contact@racketmaster.shop.

What we collect

  • When you buy a guide: your name, email address, billing address and order details. Card details are entered into Shopify's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by us.
  • When you join our email list: your email address and the fact that you agreed to receive tips and offers.
  • When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you choose to write.
  • When you browse the site: device and usage information (such as browser type, pages viewed and how you arrived) collected through cookies. See "Cookies" below.

We sell digital PDF guides only. We do not collect delivery addresses, phone numbers or any sensitive personal information.

How we use it, and our legal basis

  • To process your order and deliver your guide by email (to perform our contract with you).
  • To keep records of sales for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
  • To answer your messages and provide support (legitimate interests).
  • To send our email newsletter (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email).
  • To understand how the site is used and measure our adverts (your consent, given through the cookie banner).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that run the store for us:

  • Shopify, which hosts the website, runs checkout and processes payments.
  • Fileflare, which delivers your download links.
  • Google Workspace, which hosts our business email.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which measures our adverts if you accept marketing cookies.

Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US Data Bridge.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies that the store needs to work (for example, to remember your basket). With your permission, we also use analytics and marketing cookies, including the Meta Pixel. You can accept or decline these in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page or in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: 6 years after the end of the tax year of your purchase, as UK tax law requires.
  • Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe.
  • Messages to us: up to 2 years after we last hear from you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • receive a copy to take elsewhere;
  • withdraw consent at any time.

To use any of these rights, email contact@racketmaster.shop and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Our guides are sold to adults. If a parent buys a guide for a child, we only hold the parent's details.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
